Today, I’m sharing how I have used non-traditional and traditional Christmas gift wrapping paper to coordinate with my Christmas Trees from years past, as well as giving you a sneak peek into what my Christmas gift wrapping paper and decor will be this year.

Winter Woodland Christmas Tree & Non-Traditional Christmas Gift Wrapping Paper
I have been coordinating my gift wrapping paper and Christmas Trees for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until recent years that I started taking photographs of the wrapped presents.
Friends and extended family would always comment on the gift wrapping paper and package details almost as much as they would about the Christmas trees. Soon, they started asking for photos for gift wrapping ideas and inspiration. And a new tradition was born…photograph the Christmas gift wrapping paper and wrapped presents!
A couple of years ago, the theme I chose for our Christmas decor was a Winter Woodland theme. I kept the overall color palette soft and wanted to do the same for the gift wrap, so I decided to use non-traditional gift wrapping paper for most of the gifts. As you can see, even though the gift wrap is not “Christmasy” per se, it’s still very festive and coordinates perfectly with the tree.
The “Joy” and “Noel” boxes (below) were last minute finds that I just had to purchase because they worked so beautifully with everything else.

Southern Elegance Christmas Tree with A Mix of Traditional and Non-Traditional Christmas Gift Wrapping Paper
Last year our theme for Christmas was Southern Elegance. This is probably one of my favorite trees and theme to date. In my opinion, my Southern Elegance theme was a fresh take on traditional Christmas tree decor.
For the gift wrapping paper, I used a mix of plaids, stripes, damask, scenery, and script. I love how all of the prints and colors work so well with the Christmas tree to complete the story.
