Kristy Mastrandonas, founder and principal interior designer of Kristy Mastrandonas Interior Design & Styling, is regarded as a leading authority on home furnishings and interior design.  With a focus on design excellence and exceptional customer service, Kristy personally oversees each project with the same care and attention as if it were her own home.

Prior to opening up her design practice to private residential clients, Kristy worked with regional and national home builders designing and furnishing model homes in various price ranges – from starter homes to luxury multi-million dollar homes. As more and more people visited the model homes she designed and decorated asking if she could do the same for their homes, she knew she was onto something… design clients homes with a livable luxe feel on a budget! Kristy adamantly believes that everyone deserves to live in surroundings they love, and her goal for each and every project is to create a beautiful and functional home that is a true reflection of her client’s taste and lifestyle.

Described by those that know her as an “easy-going perfectionist”, Kristy’s calming demeanor and attention to detail instills confidence in her clients, and assures them that KMIDS will provide them with an interior design solution that they’ll enjoy for years to come. Her signature embrace of color, pattern, and texture, all held in perfect balance through the proper use of scale and proportion has enlivened private residences, model homes, club houses, corporate offices, and retail spaces throughout Texas and the U.S.

Kristy Mastrandonas is a licensed & registered interior designer (RID) with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners (TBAE), holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design & Fine Arts, and has been practicing interior design for 25 years. Kristy is also a professional member of both the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the Interior Design Society (IDS), as well as being actively involved with each local chapter. In addition, she is the past President of the ASID Texas Chapter, 2013 – 2014.
