Hello Sweet Friends,
With America’s birthday just around the corner, I thought I would share these 5 simple ways that I add patriotic flare to my home for the 4th of July. Hint…it involves the American Flag…and lots of them!
By the way, not only will you get to see how I’ve added patriotic flare to my home, but you’ll also get to see some of my friends add it to their homes too! I’ve teamed up with 10 of my sweet blogger friends for a Stars & Stripes Blog Hop Party today and you’re invited to follow along! It’s seriously so good and filled with so many patriotic decorating ideas. You’ll definitely want to follow along! If you’re coming over from Michelle at The Glitzy Pear, welcome. Don’t you just love how she has her dining table styled for July 4th?
Here’s a little sneak peek of what’s in store for you on this blog hop. Have I convinced you yet? Good stuff, am I right?!
Patriotic Curb Appeal
I don’t know about you but I love to show my patriotism, especially on Memorial Day and the 4th of July. And that starts with curb appeal. I like to create a warm welcome for guests plus I get the bonus of a nice welcome home treat every evening.
You can see my Early Summer Decor here, and how I updated my Front Door Baskets here.
Patriotic Decorations for The Home
First up inside is our dining room hallway, with just a touch of patriotic flare. Just in case you’re curious…yes, that is a pencil Christmas tree you see. I’ve kept it up year round for the past few years. Occasionally, I’ll decorate it per season. If you want to see how I decorated last Fall you can find that here.
If you’ve been following me for a while on Instagram, then you know it’s no secret that I love creating tablescapes and decorating our kitchen island for any occasion or even on a whim. This 4th of July I decided to keep my patriotic tablescape and island decor relatively simple and I love how it came together.
That about wraps it up for now. I hope you enjoyed my little patriotic tour!
Don’t Forget About The Stars & Stripes Blog Hop!
Up next on the Stars & Stripes Blog Hop is Jessica at Itty Bitty Farmhouse. I love her gorgeous outdoor spaces all decked out for July 4th and I know you will too! Once you’re finished with her blog be sure to keep going (she’ll have the link for next up after her) because there’s so much beautiful eye candy awaiting you; I promise!
